Bonjour! I am a new user based in France, so I can’t set up automatic transactions from my French bank. I am planning on inputting everything manually. I started in September. There is plenty of money listed in my “accounts” tab, but Goodbudget says that I only have $25 available. Could you please explain what step I am missing?

Your “Available” money is just what you haven’t put into envelopes. You can spend everything in the envelopes, PLUS whatever is left in Available. Some people choose to account for every cent and keep that balance at 0, while others use it as “extra” money for unbudgeted expenses. You can do either one, whichever feels better for your style.
