Hi there - is there a way to have an envelope balance NOT reflect transactions which have yet to be confirmed? I have the bank sync switched on, and it’s easier for us to do envelope fills based on the balance at month-end, rather than a live balance with un-confirmed transactions. Sometimes we may be a few days late getting filling each month. Is there a setting I can change so that my envelope balances will not include yet-to-be-confirmed transactions? Thank you.

While the Envelope balances will always reflect transactions that are posted (whether confirmed or not), there is a way to fill based on the balance at month end rather than the live balance.
If you would like your Envelopes to be exactly 100% full on the 1st of the month based on whatever was left at the end of the previous month, here’s what you would do:
- back date your fill to the 1st of the month
- Select “set all to budget amount” from the Quick Fill, or select “set to budget amount” for the Envelopes you wish to fill. Goodbudget will calculate the difference between what was left at the end of the month and what would have been necessary to make your Envelopes exactly 100% full on the first of the month.
