It would be great to be able to sort your envelopes alphabetically. Can this be done somehow? The search returns no results for “alphabetically”.

Although I don’t believe you can auto-sort, you are able to move your envelopes around into whatever order suits you best. Just use the “Edit” function in the envelope tab and rearrange however you like.

Thank you all for your replies. I was aware that I was able to manually move the item on the list, but this is not something I was looking for. I have many envelopes and sorting them manually is a waste of time plus it is also generating errors. I am a bit surprised as sorting any lists in an online application by any categories should be a standard and not something people (like me) are looking for.

I agree, alphabetical sorting should be automatic. It is time consuming to have to search for the envelope you want when there is no particular order to them. This needs to be addressed. Thanks
I agree, but it would also have to handle sorting when groups are used.
Maybe sort groups and then envelopes in these groups.
