Red/Minus Zero?

I’ve noticed more than once now there are times when I will fill an envelope and it will be a red (or minus) zero. What does this mean? Normally the zero will be gray when there’s no more money but red would imply I’m still under? Even at zero?

Here’s an example of two different envelopes showing that. The first one has a gray zero while the second one has a red/minus zero. Is this perhaps because in the first one I had filled the envelope before the expense that zeroed it out but in the second the expense came first and then I filled it to zero it out?

@prsammy Thanks for your post! It doesn’t have to do with your Fills specifically. Whether or not your ‘0.00’ is grey or red with a negative sign depends on what your running balance looked like in the previous transaction.

For example, in the top screenshot, your Envelope is in the black, so your running balance is grey. As a result, your ‘0.00’ follows the same pattern. Conversely, in the bottom screenshot, your Envelope is overdrawn with a red running balance and negative, so your ‘0.00’ looks the same. But both displays mean the same thing (i.e. that your Envelope is at 0.00 and not under).

Hope that helps!
