While I’ve been using Goodbudget for quite some years now with good satisfication I don’t feel there is a lot of activity when it comes to bringing new functionality. Is this application still actively developed or is it time to start looking at alternatives before Goodbudget shuts down?
Hi Michiel,
Great question!
Firstly, we are happy to hear that you have been a Goodbudgeter for quite some years and are still enjoying it ![]()
If you are ever curious about what our team is working on, then we encourage you to visit our Roadmap. This shares an overview of what we are currently working on, what we hope to work on, and what we have most recently worked on. For a more detailed overview of our past releases, visit our Changelog. Over the past year, we have mainly focused our attention on features and fixes related to our Bank Sync capabilities. We are actively working on building a match feature at this time for Bank Sync.
Hope this helps answer your question that, yes, we are actively developing and improving Goodbudget! Thank you again for being with us over the years and we hope to continue providing quality tools to help you budget well, live life, and do good.
Live Generously,
Chloe
Ok, it seems (almost) all focus goes into bank sync capabilities which is not usefull for me as European (and not even high on my own wish list since while manually entering can be a burden - making that easier would be one of my main wishes) it gives much more visibility to expenses as any outlier would be visible whereas with automatic those are easily missed.
Appreciate the team not being very large and thus output not always being visible, but I do believe there are many improvements that can be made to make good budget even more useable and powerful
