Importing entery Transations from CSV Files

How to Import this CSV in transaction these are not Bank transactions

@nomi – Thanks for your post! Generally, you just need a Name, Date and an Amount to import with and Goodbudget works best when your CSV file is formatted a certain way. So I’d recommend editing yours in order to upload it into GB.

Try editing your file to make it look like the sample CSV located at the bottom of this Help Article and you should be able to use yours to import with. That article will also provide you with some common troubleshooting tips if you run into trouble importing with that file. Hope that helps!

No way to include category???

If you use ‘Upload Bank File’ tool, you can add an ‘Envelope’ column. The data in the Envelope column will need to be named exactly as your Envelopes are named in order for Goodbudget to assign your transactions to them correctly.

Know that the ‘Upload Bank File’ tool is different from the existing ‘Import’ tool in that there’s no matching functionality.
