Each household has a single login and password, so what you’ve described is the correct way to use the household on multiple devices.

So, only one person should be in there at a time? And only one email is associated with it?
It’s OK for multiple people to be logged in at the same time; my husband and I are always logged in via the app and have no trouble entering transactions from either device, but yes we’re both logged into the same household with the same credentials.
