How to amend a balance

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have been using the app for a couple of years and love it but somehow I have got a £10 discrepancy between an account and envelope. The account has one figure and the envelope associated with that account shows that it has £10 less (which is the correct figure). If amend the bank account it puts -£10 into unallocated. Any one know how to fix this?

You might have £10 in the account assigned to another or deleted envelope.
Did you try a global search to see if there might be another transaction?

Remember that accounts and envelopes aren’t tied together so your first goal will be to correct the account balance. As Rocket suggested, is there a duplicate transaction or perhaps a discrepancy between a Fill and some income?
The corrected account balance will reflect in your envelopes globally but as you likely already know, won’t tie directly to any specific one. I would simply transfer the £10 from another envelope(s) back to Unallocated in order to correct all the balances.
