Fix for envelope deletion/unallocated balance

I deleted an envelope. That envelope had a balance. I did not run that balance to zero before I deleted the envelope. :roll_eyes: Now that balance is in my Unallocated.

I understand why. It was my dumb mistake. What I need to know is how to fix it. I needed to enter a payment (debit) in the folder before it was deleted. That didn’t happen. What are my options for a fix at this point?

It’s no problem, just add that money to another envelope (or several). You can either do a Fill From Unallocated for multiples, or just an envelope transfer from Unallocated to an active envelope. Easy-peasey!
You could even leave it Unallocated if you want to keep it there as a buffer, but that’s up to your budgeting style.
