Fill Subtracted amounts from two envelopes

I have two fills. One is set for the first of the month and that is the one I am writing about. I pressed the “now” button so I could see fill today (it was set for tomorrow) and in reviewing the fill I saw an issue.

  1. The first of the month fill is set to fill only two envelopes, the BMW lease (debt) and a health care premium for my daughter. Those two envelopes filled with their respective amounts.
  2. Two other envelopes indicate subtracted amounts. The Sub: Evlofitness envelope shows -50 and the Joint Home Account Expenses=auto ins. Prime envelope shows -106.55.

I’ve never seen this particular fill do this before. I know I can correct these two envelope balances but am wondering if you have any ideas about why this may have happened.

Hi @Frustrated,

Thanks for your post! My only guess is that the scheduled Fill accidentally got updated to include those two other Envelopes.

I’d recommend taking a look at your next recurrence of that scheduled Fill to see if those Envelopes are also included. If so, change the fill amount to ‘Add’ 0.00, so no money is added to them the next time the Fill posts.
