Deleting an envelope

I have an envelope that has fills and transactions. I wanted to delete it and retroactively put that fill money and transactions somewhere. Any suggestions how to do that?

The transactions should be able to be transferred en masse to the other envelope, but the fills will be trickier. It might be easiest to move all the transactions out first, then do a single envelope transfer to move the funds from the now-empty envelope to the new one before deleting. Unfortunately this won’t keep your balances correct historically.
Depending on your goal, it might be simplest to just use the new envelope from this point forward. You can delete the old one, and your transactions and fills will be preserved although the ledger will reflect them in a deleted envelope. Deleting the envelope won’t affect your funds, just where those entries “live”.

@Tim_Smith You can use the bulk edit tool on the web to move both regular expense / credit transactions as well as your fills. Before you delete the Envelope, drill down into the Envelope you’d like to delete and then select all of the items you plan to move. Next use the ‘Move to Envelope’ option to move them to their new home.

Hope that helps!
