Connection issues

Is this an active forum? I am having issues with connecting accounts. It seems an app issue and not a bank issue. Is there a help desk?

It’s very active, but if you’ve done all the troubleshooting (and your accounts are American–internationals aren’t supported yet) you’ll need to speak to the Admins. They’ll usually offer help here, then via email if there’s something wrong. It’s a small company so all the support is via forum or email.
What issues are you having? I don’t use linked accounts but there may be someone here who does and can help if you’re more specific. Have you searched already to see if someone else has posted a similar issue? Linked accounts are fairly new so there’s been a lot of discussion in the forums.

Thanks for responding. So I set it all up last week and then watched a video and the guy said do yourself a favor and wait until you have a zero credit card balance so I waited for that and money to be put in the bank which was yesterday. Unfortunately now I’m getting the message that there is trouble connecting and backing up data. The system has the ability to connect to both of my American accounts and has done so earlier and now is just tripping. I feel like I’m just wasting time here, but I did pay for the premium. It’s not real clear how I even connect with an admin, so I’m wondering if I just put in for a refund and try another Software. I really had such hope for Goodbudget.

You can email them directly from the web—the same way you found the forum, there’s a place for email support if you’re a paid subscriber. They check the forums frequently though so you’ll probably get a response from @karisa directly during work hours.
I may sound like a shill, but I’ve tried SO MANY other apps and none have been a better fit for me than Goodbudget, although I’m not using the auto-import features.

Thank you so much for helping ppl in this forum. Bc you like it so much I decided to create a new account, start over and deal with closing the old account and getting $10 back later.

Things are going well now.

Thanks again!

Hi Rachael - I saw your email and will reply directly there since we’ll need to get into more detail with your household and bank connections to see what’s going on.

@Tiffany Thanks as always for helping folks out in the forums!
