Clarification on bank sync timing?

I understand that Plaid and bank both factor into bank sync. However, in another budgeting app they also uses Plaid is getting transactions up to two days before GB. So why is this happening? (Other apps also have a function to on demand update from Plaid.)

Thanks for your post – The short answer is that each app implements its Plaid connections differently. We’ve opted to only sync transactions once they’ve cleared in your bank, and that might be responsible for some of the delay you’re experiencing. But we’ve found that waiting for transactions to clear is more reliable since pending transactions can change in their amount or name once they clear.
