Carry over remaining balance in an envelope?

Is there a way to have your remaining balance in an envelope carry over to the next month and get added to next month’s budget?

There sure is! In your envelope fill, change the instruction from “Set” (which resets the budget) to “Add” which just adds the monthly budgeted amount to whatever is still in there.
“Add” is also how you could “borrow” from the next month. If for example you treat yourself and go over budget by $10, the “Add” instruction would leave you with $10 less the following month to balance your spending.
