I have had Good Budget for over a year. However last year I didn’t use it correctly. Plus I have about six months of transactions I didn’t account for. Plus I just moved. Can I just start over without having to create a different account and paying again for GoodBudget since it just renewed. I really want to be able to delete all my information. Please help
You can get back on track!
You basically have two options here. The first is to leave your existing data in place, but update Goodbudget to reflect where you are today. To do that, just Edit your account screen so that the balance of your Account(s) equals the last statement balance, then enter any transactions since that statement. If there are many, or you don’t have accurate records of them, just start with your next statement.
If that’s just too much and you don’t mind losing your old data, you CAN start all over! The Goodbudget Admin team explains how here. Then you can update your Accounts, adjust your Budget and Fill your envelopes from scratch.
