Budget and Fill Envelope transaction doesn't match

I’ve set up my envelopes and my account, but each fortnight there seems to be discrepancy between the budget and the fill amount.
My fortnightly pay goes into the account ($1816)
I’ve set up my budget with my envelopes to have fill amounts totalling $1813 and to get filled the day after pay day
Every fortnight it does the fill envelope transaction totalling $1850

I’ve doubled check my envelope amounts and they should total $1813. I’m not sure where the extra money is going and why (and how to stop it!)

Are you sure you have every envelope toggled to “Add”? If any are toggled to “set” (and in my opinion it’s not super obvious which toggle is active) then it will add or subtract enough to make the envelope match the budget, or the amount indicated. I would start there to be sure none of them are inadvertently doing something that’s not what you intended. Make sure you’re changing the future fill, as changing a current fill won’t update anything that’s already happened.

I doubled checked and they are all set to add, although it looked like some the envelopes that had a budget amount, had zero on the scheduled transaction.
On the scheduled transaction amount it says ‘varies’. I’m not sure why that would be so when it is the same budget every week. I’ve double checked the transaction date, and the amounts so I might wait a week and see if it resolves.
If not, I’ll post again.
