My first month with good budget and I think I have the hang of it overall. The one thing I can’t seem to find easily is how much has been spent for an envelope from the first to today. Part of it could be that my envelopes aren’t fully yet. I have seen I can get this info from a report, but is there a place where I can just see how much has been spent up to date in an envelope easily?
The Spending by Envelope report really is the only place to see this, especially if you break up your envelope fills throughout the budget period. If you happen to be on the iOS app it’s just two clicks—Reports at the bottom then Spending By Envelope, the first choice. It should default to the current month and you can easily see what you’re looking for.
