Hello all. I have searched online, the Help files, and in the forum and can’t figure out how to add my Apple Card account. I tried Goldman Sachs and was told it’s not supported, however I see others here mentioning having their Apple accounts linked to GoodBudget. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Laura,
Thank you for reaching out to the Goodbudget Community!
This is Chloe from Goodbudget Support and it may be helpful to note that we use a service called Plaid to create the connections between Goodbudget and your banking institutions. Plaid currently doesn’t support Apple Credit Cards at this time.
For accounts that are not supported by automatic Bank Sync, you can continue to use Goodbudget’s manual functions. There are two options we recommend:
- add transactions manually as you make them https://goodbudget.com/help/getting-started-guide/step-5-record-expenses/
- manually import an OFX or QFX file periodically

Hope this helps and please reach out if you have additional questions!

Chloe
I have the same question.
Hi there,
Happy to help! Currently, Plaid does not support Apple Card accounts. If you would like to check if your institutions are supported by Plaid, then we recommend referring to our Help Article.
Hope this helps and happy budgeting!
Chloe
Is this something that’s supported yet? It doesn’t have to be via Plaid. With the latest iOS you can link an app to Apple Wallet directly. This is the main thing holding me back from using this as my apple card is what I use for almost all purchases, and I don’t want to manually add those transactions in.
Very late response here but the second option Chloe mentioned is very easy and reduces the workload a lot. You can do it once a week or once a month before you categorize bank sync transactions. The second link she provided explains how to do it and it takes like a couple minutes to log in and download the file, then import it.
Essentially, you’ll get a list of transactions that are almost exactly what you would get from an automatic bank sync anyway. You’ll choose whether there’s already an existing manual transaction that matches what’s in the file or if it’s a brand new one and then categorize them. All the other info will get transferred from the document you downloaded from your credit card’s online portal into Goodbudget.
