A reminder list/description of what an envelope is for

I have made my envelopes, but want to remember some rules for myself as to what each envelope is FOR. What is a good way to record which type of transactions I “allow” from each envelope?

Example: Without making a painfully long list of sub envelopes, I like having one envelope for regular bills - water, lights, and a few other standard things that happen each month whether I like it or not. A description (apart from envelope name) would be helpful to remember what I can use the envelope for.

You can add notes to each Fill (not at the envelope level though), but apart from that I’m not aware of another way to describe envelopes. Your recurring transactions will make this a bit easier for what you’ve described, and you can also use emojis in your names if that helps.
