I have made my envelopes, but want to remember some rules for myself as to what each envelope is FOR. What is a good way to record which type of transactions I “allow” from each envelope?
Example: Without making a painfully long list of sub envelopes, I like having one envelope for regular bills - water, lights, and a few other standard things that happen each month whether I like it or not. A description (apart from envelope name) would be helpful to remember what I can use the envelope for.
