Opening balance problem

I added my opening balance on 7/31. I think I may have added it incorrectly, because when I attempted to reconcile my Goodbudget balance with my bank today, I have the opening balance amount hanging out uncleared. I’m not sure what to do to get rid of it. And my bank balance and my GoodBudget balance agree. Any thoughts?

Hi Marcy,
Did you enter your actual opening balance in the “previous balance” spot on the reconciliation page? If it’s your first time reconciling an account, you should leave it at 0. It sounds like that might be the issue, but you can change that value to 0 now and the account should balance. Hope that helps!
