I transferred money from my bank account to my daughters bank account. How do I take this money out of my budget if it didn’t go into any envelope or any account in my “good budget”? It was basically cash given to her into her own bank account.

When I transfer money to my daughter for her weekly allowance, I just record it as an expense. Since I’m not tracking her account, it’s just money I don’t have anymore. I pull that transaction from my “Fixed Expenses” envelope that basically includes almost everything I have to pay on a schedule (mortgage, utilities, car, insurance, etc.).
Hope that helps!
