How can I balance out my envelopes by moving excess budget form some envelopes to other envelopes where I have gone negative? Longer term this certainly shows perhaps I need to allocate more to some envelopes and less to others but right now I just want to balance things a bit.

I think the easiest way is to do a “Fill from Available” but as you go through the envelopes, you can add negative amounts to the ones that are overfilled and positive to the ones that need more money. You’re technically putting money into and out of the Available bucket, but the end result is the same. As you tab out of the field it will update the envelope balance as well as the Available balance, and you can get everything where you’d like it to be. It’s essentially doing lots of envelope transfers in a single transaction.
Hope that works for you!
